Autumn Foliage at Kakusenkei Gorge

One of the most famous scenic spots in Yamanaka Onsen Hotspring District, visitors can stroll along this 1.3km trail along the Kakusenkei Gorge. The strangely-shaped rocks, the waterfalls and the deep green water from the stream bring out the seasonal natural beauty of this gorge. Tourists can enjoy this spectacular scenery by strolling along for about an hour on the trail built alongside the gorge. Visitors can also enjoy the stunning view of the Ayatori-hashi Bridge that has an S-shaped design, as well as the Korogi-hashi Bridge constructed with Japanese cypress. The scenery is exceptionally magnificent during the autumn foliage season.
