Ishikawa Prefectural History Museum

This History Museum is located in the precincts of Honda no Mori Park. This red brick building, which was at first a weapons warehouse of old Japanese Army, between Meiji to Taisho eras, was later used as the building housing Kanazawa College of Art after the 2nd World War. Various types of material related to the history and culture of Ishikawa is exhibited in 3-D and other variety of forms, which gives the visitors an insight into the picture of Ishikawa from the primitive to the present times. It was designated as country's Important Cultural Asset in 1990.

No entry fee for high school students and below
