6.Seasonal Fashion in Ishikawa
It is best to dress appropriately according to the 4 seasons.

Spring (March-May)
You may need a thicker coat for some of the colder days during early spring, but when May comes Ishikawa will become pretty warm that you can actually wear short sleeves shirts. However, this is also the time when the weather can change dramatically, so it is best to have a jacket handy.

Summer (Mid-June-August)
You can wear short sleeves or even tank tops with sandals all day long, but beware of indoor air-conditionings which can be chilly sometimes. It is best to have a thin jacket ready when you plan to go out, and for those who worry about the sun, have a parasol handy as you will find it quite useful.

Autumn (September-November)
You may be able to wear short sleeve with sandals during early September, but morning and night temperatures will start to fall in October and you will definitely need a jacket from time to time. Even so you won't need a thick jacket since there are many days when you can get away with wearing just a T-shirt. When November comes, you may need those woven sweaters to keep you warm and comfortable.

Winter (December-February)
Winter gets really chilly during mornings and nights, and even during the day time you will need thicker coats or jackets. It is best to have a scarf and pair of gloves with you when you go out, and those disposable pocket warmers can also be very helpful at times.
