Visitors can find some of the Kaga's traditional arts and crafts including Kutaniyaki
Porcelain, Yamanaka Lacquerware, Kaga Yuzen Silk, Kanazawa Gold Leaves and Wajima
Lacquerware in this Shopping Center. Stores also carry souvenirs such as Kaga
confectionery sweets, local sake, Kaga tea leaves, pickled vegetables, fresh fish
and other grocery items. There are about 50 shops inside this facility and have
a rich assortment of goods. Tourists can pick out souvenirs to their likings.
This Shopping Center is located at the entrance to the Kaga Onsen, which is right
in front of the JR Kaga Onsen Station. Visitors can come inside the stores easily
and look around when they are waiting for the train or the bus. |

With items collected from over 40 countries around the world, this Museum is a
glassware specialty store that sells and displays over 100,000 items of glassware,
art objects and accessories. The Museum is packed with original-made accessories,
daily kitchen glassware and fancy small articles. Visitors can also try their
hands on making their own glassware. Next to this Glassware Hall there is also
an Orgel Selection Hall that exhibits over 1,000 types of musical boxes, as well
as a Kaga Sweet Hall that has various kinds of hand-made desserts that are prepared
without any preservatives. |

This special Museum displays many different items from cute and lighthearted sculptures
to Wajima Lacquerware, Yamanaka Lacquerware and Kanazawa Gold Lacquer Work that
are created by skilled craftsmen and living national treasures since the Edo Period.
Besides enjoying the unique and delightful sculptures of dogs, cats, rabbits and
the gods of nature, visitors can also play with rabbits that are roaming freely
inside the park. Other facilities such as the restaurant famous for its "Kura
Goma-udon" Noodles, the tea house that serves coffee with real lacquerwares, and
a souvenir shop that sells various goods from the Hokuriku area are also available
inside this theme park, letting visitors enjoy sight-seeing, dining and shopping
all at once. |

The Yamanaka Lacquerware Traditional Industry Hall was built in 1981 (Showa 56)
as the base of promoting Yamanaka Lacquerware products. Inside the facility there
are exhibitions of traditional arts & crafts; visitors can also observe the
different techniques used in making lacquerwares. You can learn all about Yamanaka
Lacquerware from the exhibitions and videos showing the process of making lacquerware
and the performance of the craftsmen on the pottery wheel. |
