Information regarding Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake

To all the travelers,
We are extremely sorry for all the inconvenience caused to you due to the effects of Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake disaster. We are also grateful to for the warm encouragement and support that we have been receiving from many people in the wake of this disaster. Fortunately, Ishikawa Prefecture was not affected by this earthquake as it is located several hundred kilometers from the disaster affected areas of Tohoku region and Eastern Japan. As a result of its distance from the affected areas, all the traffic and transportation facilities such as Komatsu Airport, Noto Airport, Central Japan International (Chubu) Airport, Kansai International Airport that link Ishikawa with the outside areas, have not been affected in any way and all the tourist accommodations and other facilities are functioning in a normal manner. We hope that this information will answer some of your concerns and we look forward to welcoming you to Ishikawa.
